HeadShot is a very simple app with just 1 purpose: track the frequency
and scale of your chronic pain or migraine
With minimal friction.
While there are several apps available for tracking migraines, many users find them overly complicated, cluttered with excessive features, options, and ads.
In contrast, our app provides a clean and intuitive experience that prioritizes what truly matters: effortlessly tracking your pain levels.
There are no accounts, no AI, no ads, no tracking, no in-app purchases, and no complicated settings.
There is only one step to record your "HeadShot".
It's very easy: just download the app and add your first Entry by clicking the big "+" button at the bottom.
You can also add some tags to enrich the information of your entries.
Tags can be added in Settings. Just click the three dots icon in the top-right corner of the main screen.
Tags can be anything you need. One common use case is tracking medications that you use for the pain.
E.g., if you add tags, like "paracetamol" or "ibuprofen", they will show up in the "Add entry" form,
where you can "tick" them on/off.
The report generated with such entries will also show some basic stats for tags.
One thing to note is that there is a limit of 36 tags, so that they can fit in a single report page.
Tags are also limited to 20 characters each, so that they can fit in the report nicely.
The report is designed to serve as a "diary" for your chronic pain or migraine.
It will show a monthly break-down: a chart of the scale of the pain and some useful stats, like
number of pain-free days per month, number of pain-days, tags stats and more.
HeadShot is a fully local app. Which means that all data that you enter, stays on the device.
There is absolutely no tracking, and no online calls to any servers.
You can read more on this in our Privacy Policy.
There is one downside of that approach: if you loose your device - your data will be lost.
Therefore, we recommend to backup your data periodically.
In Settings, you have the option to export your data as a CSV file. CSV, or "Comma-Separated Values", is a plain text file format that stores tabular data. It can be opened on any device using any text editor or spreadsheet software, such as Excel or Google Sheets. This file can be saved to iPhone Files or iCloud Drive, or it can be attached directly to an email or a text message.
